Luxury in Love and Hospitality

February is my favorite month to highlight two things: Being Black and Being in Love! As a hospitality professional I am always amazed when luxury hotels showcase their ability to celebrate love and romance this time of year. I am especially impressed with hotels ability to market their amenities for a diverse audience - including blacks. It is February right and who doesn't like to be pampered with the finest? I am excited to share some properties for those looking to splurge and reserve with a few hours left.

Four Seasons - Baltimore, MD

Our job in the hospitality industry is to cater to all consumers. So whether you are showing some extra love to yourself, your pet, galentine, or partner - make sure to check out these luxurious properties that will serve as an oasis on February 14th. One thing you can count on are the luxury touches and feels while including care for self. I would highly recommend the Four Season's located in Baltimore, Maryland. I had the pleasure of chosing this luxurious hotel back in September during labor day weekend and even then I felt loved!

Lets jump right into it. Amenities: Four Seasons Baltimore is a full service luxury hotel perfect for the self-care luxurious experience. The 24 hour fitness cetner comes fully equipped with health and wellness needs including yoga mats for an early V-Day stretch. The spa is located on the same floor and provides reserved services for facials, massages, meditation services, oh and a peek to a rose bath experience. Lastly, the views you simply cannot ignore. Picture existing in your own little oasis inside of an inner city. Dining at Maximon, a latin-infused dining experience made me feel like I was not in Baltimore, MD. The outdoor dining experience included palm trees, great service and not to mention exquisetly located right by the harbor. It's not too late to book today for February 14th.

Equinox Hotels + Equinox Club and Spa

Ladies now you don't have to leave your man at home and fellas you can enjoy your love and your time! Did you know Equinox Club and Spa has entered the luxury hospitality scene with Equinox Hotels. If you are based on the East Coast and want to book this self-care experience for a romantic couple duo I highly suggest! All lovers should take this trip and experience the NY Skyline views, exclusive club experience - which has it's own dedicated floor in the hotel, and not to mention the amazing bar and restaurant captivating New York's finest individuals. Oh and the cocktails were well curated and well balanced with alcohol and flavor. Tourist or not, Equinox hotels will have you fit right in and provide both luxury and wellness getaway for Valentine's Day. Kimpton Banneker Washington, DC

This hotel is the newest Kimpton Hotel in the nation's capital! Kimpton Banneker pays homage to the Black author in the Northwest section of DC. This hotel sheek and stylish design is perfect for a night out with your girls for Galentine's Day! Kimpton Banneker rooms are spacious and includes an art-deco design you dont want to miss. Also included int he rooms are self-controlled lighting - something every girl crew needs before taking that flawless selfy in the mirror! Rooftop views and layout definitely ranks this rooftop in my book as top 5 (that is another blog for another day) and my favorite drinks were the lemon drop martinis. Invite your besties and cheers to black girl magic on the rooftop firepits.

No matter how you choose to spend this day - choose to love you. Choose to take care of self and choose to not be afraid of sharing some of that love and light on Valentine's Day.
